About Quant Capital Engineering

An independent, English-language education project. It teaches technically capable learners to turn a trading idea into an explicit, testable decision system.

What QCE teaches

The course material follows one chain from assumptions to evidence, risk controls, permission and recorded outcomes, so that every decision can be inspected and every refusal explained. The methods are established ones; the aim is to connect and teach them well.

Who is responsible

Quant Capital Engineering is owned by Steven Alber.

The legal seller, the named course author and the technical reviewer will be identified on this page before any enrolment opens. Each released lesson will name its own author and reviewer.

What QCE will not do

  • Publish signals, manage money or trade on anyone's behalf.
  • Promise profits, income or easy wealth.
  • Give investment advice or recommend instruments, trades or strategies.
  • Present an institute identity, accreditation or professional designation.
  • Show testimonials or outcome claims before real, consented learner evidence exists.
  • Create urgency with invented deadlines or scarcity.

How material is checked

Every course asset moves through recorded states: specified, drafted, technically reviewed, learner tested and released. Only released assets will be sold, and a purchased edition stays attached to the order even after later corrections.

Each asset keeps a provenance record: identifier, version, author, technical reviewer, sources, licence, creation and review dates, dependency versions and known limitations. Released files carry checksums.

Examples use clearly labelled synthetic data and original code. Historical market data is used only where its redistribution rights are documented.

Drafting may use language-model assistance. Before release, equations, citations and code behaviour are verified by a person and that verification is recorded. Corrections and edition history are published.

Status in October 2026
